Baby Shahmeer Ali, 14 days old boy was suffering from Congenital Heart Defect. He needed Open Heart Surgery to save his life. There are 3 members in the family and father is an only earning member. He is a farmer and his monthly income is Rs. 12,500/-. The surgery was done in Fortis Escort Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Neeraj Awasthy (MD, FNB Director pediatric cardiology). The total estimate of the surgery was Rs.6,00,000/ but the family requires assistance of Rs.2,00,000/- from Diya Medicare Foundation. His family was not in a position to bear the expenses of his treatment. We have supported the family with this amount with the help of our kind supporters. He was admitted in hospital on 22 May 2025 and successfully discharged after surgery from hospital on 10 June 2025.
