Ashish Kumar 9 Year old boy was suffering from Congenital Heart Defect, Doubly Committed VSD, RCC Prolapse, Dilated Aortic root. He needed early VSD open heart surgery to save his life. There are 6 members in the family and father is the only earning member. He works as a farmer. His monthly income is Rs 7,500/-. The treatment was given in Fortis Escort Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Neeraj Awasthy, MD, FNB Director Pediatric Cardiology. The surgery costd Rs.3,50,000/-. The family requires finance assistance from Diya Medicare Foundation for Rs. 1,50,000/-. His family was not in a position to bear the expenses of his treatment.He was admitted in hospital on 19th April 2025 and successfully discharged after surgery on 26th April 2025
